Wahana Estate, meaning "Vessels for Great Success," is Sumatra's first specialty estate focused on single varietal coffee. Established in 2005, it spans 468 hectares, with 250 hectares for coffee cultivation and 30 for a nursery. Initially growing Rasuna and Longberry, the estate now includes a variety of local and international coffee varietals, kept separate for potential microlot production. It supports 1,000 workers with free housing, utilities, healthcare, and education facilities.
