SPILL - Ethically Sourced English Breakfast Loose Leaf Tea
HERE IS SPILL
Surprisingly for a coffee roaster, Tea is the first thing we drink everyday. When SPILL co-founder Sofia, also from Leicestershire, reached out to us about her new ethically sourced, high quality English Breakfast Tea, we were all ears.
Over a cuppa at the roastery, Sofia told us all about what makes SPILL Tea unique compared to the tea we all commonly drink. Ethically sourced, traceable, higher prices paid to those who grew it, high quality and very tasty - it all sounded very familiar, and much like our approach to coffee.
So, let's SPILL the beans (or the tea), and find out more about this everyday brew.
Quality, everyday tea ethically sourced from Rwanda that totally hits the spot and pays farmers 50% above Fairtrade.
SPILL tea is from Rwanda - where some of the world’s best tea, and coffee, is grown.
Rwanda has big hills, volcanic soil, tropical sun and lots of showers - this is what makes this tea full of flavour.
Plus, tea farmers in Rwanda work to a formal plucking standard. The freshest two leaves and a bud, from the top of the bush. Not too big, or too small. Farmers receive a premium for plucking tea to this high standard - and they pluck by hand.
Give it a try, we're certain you'll be converted!
This loose leaf tea comes in a 500g bag, sold in recyclable packaging.
