Farmers in the buffer zones adopt organic methods and certifications, fostering environmental protection.

The project has expanded into a cooperative called Los Amigos del Oso, involving more farmers and generating funds for wildlife conservation. By offering workshops and native tree supplies, the cooperative sustains a balance between coffee production and forest preservation.
